Brand New Event Arrives In Aberdeenshire

A new event called the Real Ale Trail will transport hundreds of Ale lovers straight to the doors of 8 rural pubs, it arrives in the Aberdeenshire this September 28th 2019 for a one day moving festival around the area.

If you fancy a beer with friends, sampling beer from rural pubs presents fans with a major problem: who’s going to do the driving? Not to worry. The award-winning Craft & Real Ale Trail will take you by bus to sample 8 fantastic pubs with over 50 craft and real ales to sample, without the worry of driving.

The event is done by bus and picks beer fans up and drops them off at each of the pubs on the trail every half an hour from 11am to 10pm and you can start and finish anywhere on route. Buses arrives every 30-45 minutes and circulates around the pubs all day. Festival goers are taken through the lanes of glorious countryside and off the beaten track to reach some of the best pubs in the Aberdeenshire selected for their hospitality, rural location and selection of craft and real ale.

We’ve made exploring new places to drink and eat very easy. Anyone wanting to explore rural pubsand the diversity of beers in Aberdeenshire can do so now hassle free, as we’ve sorted the hospitality, the transport, all they need to do is gather friends and have a great fun day out.I’m from Wales originally and having seen the concept work so well there, I was eager to bring it to Scotland. The Trails are always jolly with a lot of singing on the buses throughout the day.

As the home of the craft beer revolution it’s no surprise that the 8 participating pubs will be offering a huge range of Craft and Real Ale from local breweries and some special ones from further afield. If ale isn’t your thing there’s traditional ciders and special gins to try too.

If you’re staying for the whole day and why wouldn’t you, finding good food won’t be a problem either as all of the pubs specialise in a great standard of food.

with easy access to public transport and great choice to eat and drink in the city it can be difficult forrural pubs to stand out, but by joining the Trail it encourages people to discover our pub, with the aim that they will like us and come back off their own steam. We’re really looking forward to the event.’

The event is hugely popular with mature drinkers who still harbour fond memories of the days when every village pub was their staple Saturday night out. It gathers like-minded people who have a passion for ale and need a good excuse to gather they friends for a good old get together. The pubs showcase their hospitality, brings in a fine range of craft and real ales.

Tickets cost £20 in advance, gets you unlimited travel all day long, so enjoy a day of quaffing local ales, sampling the food and entertainment. This is a 24 and over event.
