AWARD WINNING REAL ALE IS COMING TO TEESSIDE IN 2020!
A NEW one-day moving real ale festival is coming to pubs in Teesside by bus called the Teesside Real Ale Trail! Spend the day visiting town and village pubs, celebrating local ales and food, without needing a designated driver!
Our Real Ale Trail is heading to the North East of England for our first ever Teesside trail! The trails are about connecting people to rural pubs and tasting the local real ales made in that region. Keep an eye out for participating pubs!
Starting off in Middlesbrough, our buses will be travelling through Teesside – stopping off at Saltburn by the Sea, Guisborough, Stokesley, Hutton Rudby, Hilton and High Leven.
Follow us on Social Media for the latest updates.
24 AND OVER!
Unfortunately, Kids, you can only board the trail event if you are 24 years and over. This is because us old farts adore the company of mature grown-ups who practice terrible dancing and enjoy a good sing-song on the bus! Our event is just not intended for the cool-kids of society, and anyhow you’ve got Ibiza and Love Island!
On the Trail of a cracking day out!
Great so friends, we’ve sorted the transport between pubs! Hop on and off buses all day sampling new pubs, beers and food along the way.
Try local ales!
The first Teesside Real Ale Trail sees our buses stopping at 9 real ale pubs, 2 with on-site microbreweries. The Cleveland Hotel is home to Redcar Brewery and the White Swan is home to Captain Cook Brewery, which can be sampled at the bar.
You will be spoilt for choice as each pub on the Trail serves a minimum of 3 real ales, with over 50 real ales on the day to try (not all at once of course!).
Real Cider more to your taste? Gypsy Rover has recently be voted best Cider Pub of the Year!
Ticket holders get unlimited travel between 11am and 10pm. Tickets are £20 in advance and £22 on the day available at the participating venues.
