REAL Ale Trail

Sat 17th September 2022

Shropshire Real Ale Trail returns 17th September 2022.

This autumn trail we are heading out to a lot of favourites pubs and we have a few new pubs yet to announce too.  To reserve your place on the autumn 2022 Salop Ale Trail Bus you can buy a bus ticket on the page and your tickets will be sent to the pub you are starting at 2 weeks before the trail.

People getting together over a beverage is core to our existence and we certainly do not want to lose our pub culture, the beers, the gardens or the live music. We’d prefer to actively encourage people to join us finding new places close to home.

We’ll see you in the beer garden!

The award-winning bus-based Real Ale Trail festival is coming to Shropshire’s rural pubs this autumn 2022! Spend a day with friends rediscovering the charm of quintessential English pubs and unique real ales, without having to worry about who’s driving! The Shropshire bus based real ale trail takes you off the beaten track to some of the best pubs, found in the villages and towns dotted around Shropshire County.

Shropshire has a long tradition of brewing, and today has 19 microbreweries brewing a range of styles. The Shropshire Real Ale Trail is a great way to sample these local ales, which often can only be found in pubs local to the brewery.

Enjoy a day out with friends without needing a designated driver! Our dedicated buses arrive every 45 minutes at each pub to pick you up and drop you off between 11 am and 10 pm, giving you the freedom to stay as long or as little in each pub.

Each pub is chosen for its hospitality, atmosphere and of course selection of Real Ale, usually brewed by local microbreweries such as Salopian, Battlefield, Woods Brewery and Three Tons Brewery!  Each pub has a minimum of 3 Real Ales to try, with up to 50 Real Ales to sample on the day.
