Cardiff & The Vale Real Ale Trail Route is Unveiled

This is what Real Ale lover in South Wales have been waiting for!

The Bus Based Real Ale Trail finally arrives in Cardiff & The Vale of Glamorgan, for its very first event.

Arriving in Cardiff and the Vale on Saturday 21st of April 2018, hundreds of Ale enthusiasts will be transported literally to 10 of  Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan unique pubs, where you could potentially experiencing over 30 unique and mostly local real ales too. The Cardiff & The Vale Real Ale Trail is made up of a unique route that stops off at specially selected pubs chosen for their ales and great hospitality.

There’s no need to drive!

There are many reasons why you should attend Cardiff & The Vale’s first bus based Ale Trail, but the main one is that you don’t need DES (designated driver) because we have sorted all this driving malarkey for you with the Real Ale Trail Shuttle Buses. (We apologise in advance to all designated drivers for stealing your job, we hope you can forgive us and join in the fun).

So all you have to worry about is the more important things in life – catching up with  friends. So sit back, belting out some tunes on the bus (singing is not compulsory, but we encourage it), enjoy the hospitality, the entertainment, food and (of course) sample the delicious local Real Ales!

Buses arrive every 30 minutes at each pub from 11am to 11m, you can start and finish at any participating pub at a time that suits you.

“We’re excited to bring our award-winning event to South Wales for the first time! We’ve had huge success in North Wales and the Wirral, supporting rural pubs and independent microbreweries with our Real Ale Trail events, exposing customers to new pubs and new ales, while giving rural communities a much needed boost” Says Shelly, Director of Ale Trails Co.
